Interior Design students along with students from Beckmans School of Art and Design in Stockholm recently completed the design, manufacturing and assembly of their designs for one of the Swedish Institute’s resident apartments.
The studio was subsequently opened to the public during Paris Design Week 2018 and the Journées du Patrimoine Open Days. An exhibition tracing the elaboration of the student’s designs from inception to completion ran over the past month in one of the Institute’s galleries and was viewed by over 1000 visitors, close to 400 of which were given a tour of the apartment.
The exhibition can be seen at the end of the month in PCA’s Espace F15 gallery before traveling to Stockholm for an opening there.
