PCA's Chair of the TDNM Department selected for IMAGE PLAY International Video Art Festival

Joanna Wlaszyn, the Transdisciplinary New Media Department Chair, was selected to present her work during the IMAGE PLAY ► International Video Art Festival – IV Edition.

IMAGE PLAY ► International Video Art Festival is curated by PhD. Hernando Urrutia, and aims to promote a meeting between the languages of video art of different cultures, proposing a reflection and audio-visual thinking, exploring relationships with experimental tendency and/or connection with technology. It proposes the dissemination and assimilation of experiences, methods, and knowledge, enhancing the thought/action and creativity/innovation relationships, in the changing experiences of contemporary society.

IMAGE PLAY ► The International Video Art Festival will take place at the Theatre Baltazar Dias in Funchal, an iconic city landmark known for its Beaux-Arts architectural style in Portugal. The festival will feature projection sessions, a colloquium with conferences, and debates on November 7th-8th, 2024.
