PCA Launches New Collaboration with Central Saint Martins in London

Two celebrated arts institutions based in two international cities brought together by a point of departure, their respective Eurostar stations.
After two successful collaborations between 2014 and 2016, students enrolled in the Foundation in Art and Design program at Central Saint Martins in London and Paris College of Art, came together in a post-Brexit time of uncertainty to explore what the idea of “Europe” means to them.
Students were given a brief, challenging them to make a body of work that asks: What does the term Europe mean to you? Do you think of yourself as European? If you are not from Europe, what does it mean to you? How does the term Europe resonate across the globe? What is history, present or future of Europe?
