Undergraduate and graduate PCA students gained the opportunity to compete for a collaboration with the perfume manufacturing company, MANE, to create original scents inspired by a student’s concept.
Visiting photography student, Sebastian Thorsted won the prize of seeing his concept being transformed into a limited edition perfume. Inspired by Thorsted’s focus on organic and artificial material and the relationship between discomfort and addiction, MANE produced the synthetic fragrance “Neoteric”. The perfume was exhibited on May 17th at the PCA End of the Year show.
