PCA Talks Presents: Gauthier Roussilhe

image talk

Gauthier Roussilhe is a Designer who carries out research into design, ethics and climate change. In this talk he will be exploring the political role that design plays when human activity damages the environment in which we live.

We all know now that human activities (industry, agriculture, transport, construction,…) are the biggest driver of change on the ecosystem of our planet, for the worst. Global warming, loss of key biodiversity, depletion of resources and growing inequalities will be part of the multiple futures growing ahead of us and designed by us. We will explore why design practice has been unable to globally foster sustainable change in the Western world and has appeared mostly as a force against sustainability.

Join us in thinking about this important topic on Tuesday 10th September at 6.30 pm in the auditorium.
