Spring 2021 Open House is taking place online…
Whether you are thinking about applying to PCA or have already been accepted, Open House is a great opportunity to learn more about PCA’s undergraduate, graduate and other programs. This semester again, we have the opportunity to make Open House more accessible than ever by bringing our campus to you… virtually on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM (CET)!
Open House is the perfect time to learn more about:
- Undergraduate programs
- Graduate programs
- Certificate programs
- Admissions process
- Student life, from visa and housing to general life in Paris
- Study abroad/exchange programs
- Summer classes in Paris
Virtual Open House will feature presentations about each of our BFA, MA/MFA and Certificate programs by the Department Chair and students from each program. These will be group sessions in which you will be able to ask department-specific questions and get to hear student perspectives. During the event you will also be able to drop into Admissions and Student Life booths at your convenience to find out about the application process, housing, visas, financial assistance, and any other questions you may have.
Interested in studying abroad in Paris as a PCA visiting student? Be sure to attend the departmental presentation for the program you are interested in, and stop by the Admissions room to speak to Megan, our International Program Manager. Additionally, our Summer Program Coordinator Emma will be available to discuss all things Summer from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Also make sure you follow @pariscollegeofart on Instagram to get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the housing options in Paris.
Once you register online, you will receive login details and access to our Open House platform prior to the event. All meetings will be conducted on Zoom. Please be sure to join the Zoom meetings with the name you used to register so we can sign you in.
Following the Open House event, you can join us for the launch of the new Global BFA Industry Talks speaker series, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The inaugural event will bring together three professionals in the film industry, including our own Chair of Film Art Harald Hutter, to discuss the effects of the current pandemic on the cinema industry under the theme ‘Death of the Silver Screen – New Modes of Distribution.’ This event is free and open to all.
