Discover the final pieces from the Fashion Design's Department collaboration with STOLL!

Paris College of Art is excited to showcase the results of its Fashion Design Department’s partnership with STOLL, a renowned leader in flat-knitting machine technology. Throughout the Fall 2023 semester, our future Fashion Designers, enrolled in courses like “Textile Identification” and “Material Development & Knit,” visited STOLL workrooms. Guided by Faculty member Victoire Witdouck, a knit expert, students had the unique opportunity to knit their own designs on STOLL’s advanced machines. These intimate sessions culminated in the design and display of fully knitted garments during the end-of-semester critiques, attended by the Chair of Fashion Design, faculty members, and fellow students.

Such initiatives align with PCA’s commitment to familiarize students with the European market dynamics, introduce them to industry leaders, and deepen their knowledge of tools, materials, and design techniques. This holistic approach empowers them to articulate their distinct creative visions.
