Drawing Class Assistantship

The Drawing Class and Studio Assistant will support the Life Model Intro Course and assist in maintaining the Fine Arts Studio. This entry-level position involves two main responsibilities:

Life Model Intro Course Support:

  • Assist with the setup and takedown of the drawing class for the Life Model Intro Course held on Fridays from 14:00 to 17:00.
  • Arrive at 13:40 (20 minutes before the course starts) to set up the drawing platform for the model, ensure proper setup, and adjust heating as needed.
  • Return at 17:00 (course end) to rearrange the platform and organize all materials used during the class.

Fine Arts Studio Organization:

  • Dedicate three hours per week to organizing the Fine Arts Studio.
  • Ensure that the studio is well-maintained, and that materials and equipment are stored and organized properly.
  • This part of the position offers a flexible schedule based on the student’s availability.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing art studio spaces and supporting art classes. Candidates should be reliable, organized, and able to work independently. There are up to two positions available and no prerequisites.
