Adèle is a young woman who voluntarily shuts herself in at home. At her side, Alice, her beloved, lives this isolation with her, but Adele’s silent word gradually drives them apart. Over the seasons, Adèle finds a way to make the reasons for her silence heard through a child’s recording device.

Louise Bernard Pallas was born and raised in Paris. After completing a preparatory class in literature with a major in art history and theory, she graduated in film studies from Paris VII Diderot University. There, she obtained a master’s degree in research on the representation of urban space in Brazilian cinema. In 2015, she won a grant from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue her research in Recife, Brazil. At the same time, she became involved in two film laboratories, Etna and Abominable – Navire Argo, where she trained in 16mm shooting and developing techniques. She then joined the Fémis image department, from which she graduated after writing a thesis on image texture and gaining experience as a cinematographer.

Ludwik Pruszkowski graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris and the film department of the Łódź Film School. During his studies he began working with 35 mm film, making his first short films. He collaborated with Caroline Champetier on documentary projects and also worked as her assistant on feature films. He has made several music videos and commercials, including for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Berluti, and a commercial for the T-Mobile New Horizons film festival, as well as several short films and documentaries. He often works on international projects in Paris and Poland and has also filmed in locations such as Korea, Morocco, Iceland and Colombia.
