Laurent Masmonteil, architect and faculty of the Interior Design Department at PCA, recently took his class Project Fundamentals II on an exclusive tour of the construction site of the Cité Musicale on Île Seguin, project led by the famous Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, and his associate on this adventure, the French architect Jean de Gastines.
Laurent Masmonteil, architect and faculty of the Interior Design Department at PCA, recently took his class Project Fundamentals II on an exclusive tour of the construction site of the Cité Musicale on Île Seguin, project led by the famous Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, and his associate on this adventure, the French architect Jean de Gastines.
Philippe Monteil, the site architect, led the visit, giving the students a better sense of the day-to-day work and responsibilities involved in the interior design profession. Claire Johnson, Sophomore in Interior Design, reported on her visit in this video interview.
