From October 16 to November 18, 2017, the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e will exhibit professional and amateur photographers alike in different spaces such as galleries, libraries, boutiques, cafés, restaurants and colleges (like PCA!).

Created in 2005 by the Château d’Eau Library and the Town Hall of the 10th arrondissement, this year the biennial will be organized by Fetart in collaboration with the City Hall of Paris.

For over a month, contemporary photography will be celebrated and exhibited throughout the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Les Rencontres Photographiques du 10e is an important cultural time for the arrondissement; it demands artistic renewal, creativity and diversity and is accessible to a wide public.

In this occasion, PCA is organizing several events such as the PCA Talk with Jean Kempf about documentary photography on Tuesday, November 7 as well as an exhibition showcasing our students’ work in collaboration with other schools. PCA will also be hosting a conference during the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e on Monday, November 6. Come join us on campus for a Talk on Street Photography with guests Kalel Koven, Jérôme Lorieau, Elsa Seignol / Hans Lucas, from 6.30 to 8pm.

Opening of the Rencontres Photographiques: October 17, 7pm – 10th arrondissement City Hall. Meet us there!
