Photography Residency Open Call: Meliggoi, Greece
Meliggoi Residency Program is launching an open call for a residency program. The program offers the opportunity to one emerging photographer to spend 20 days in July 2017 in Meliggoi, Greece. The selected artist will have to create a new body of work inspired by the Meliggoi village and Dodoni province area.
The residency is also supported by the Photometria photography festival in Ioannina. An exhibition of the work produced will be displayed during the 2018 edition of the festival.
The chosen artist will receive accommodation, free food, a studio in Meliggoi as well as 500€. A cost breakdown will be asked in the application.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Project proposal: no more than 600 words, showing the artist’s interest in producing work inspired by the cultural and historical background of the area.
Portfolio: a selection of images from the latest work of the artist.
Resume: no more than one page.
