Call for Entry: Aesthetica Art Prize 2018
The Aesthetica Art Prize is now open for entries, presenting an opportunity for emerging and established artists to further their involvement in the art world. This call for entry is available to faculty, staff, and students before Friday, August 31, 2018!
Hosted by the international art and culture publication Aesthetica Magazine, the Art Prize aims to support innovative practice across a range of media. Providing a platform for students to showcase their work to international audiences, the Prize nurtures and supports new talent.
Furthering the career of many artists, the Prize is an opportunity for students to gain further exposure through publication in the inspiring Future Now: 100 Contemporary Artists Anthology and to exhibit their work at the Aesthetica Art Prize Exhibition, hosted in the historic city of York, UK.
There are two awards for entry: the Main Art Prize and the Emerging Art Prize. The Emerging Art Prize is open to current students and artists who have graduated within the last two years. The Main Art Prize is open to all, including those eligible for the Emerging Art Prize.
Main Art Prize
- £5,000 prize money for the winner
- Group exhibition hosted by Aesthetica
- Editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine
- Publication in Future Now: 100 Contemporary Artists
- £250 art supplies vouchers courtesy of Winsor & Newton

Emerging Art Prize
- £1,000 prize money for the winner
- Group exhibition hosted by Aesthetica
- Editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine
- Publication in Future Now: 100 Contemporary Artists
- £150 art supplies vouchers courtesy of Winsor & Newton
- Art books courtesy of Prestel
