Three Full Color Versions

Our logo is available in three full color versions: the primary red logo, designed for use on white backgrounds; a soft black version, intended for situations where the red version lacks sufficient contrast for legibility; and a monochromatic white version, optimized for gradient or black backgrounds.

Background Contrast

Ensuring our logo stands out involves more than just its color and size—it also requires proper contrast with the background.

White Backgrounds

On white backgrounds, either the soft black or red logo can be used.

Light Backgrounds

On a light colored background, use only the soft black logo. The red logo should never be used on a colored background, and the white logo does not provide enough contrast.

Colorful Backgrounds

On colored backgrounds, the priority is always to ensure the logo stands out. The red logo should never be used on colored backgrounds; in this case, the white logo should be prioritized as it provides the strongest contrast.

Dark Backgrounds

On dark backgrounds, only the white logo should be used.

Modular System

Our logo was designed as a modular system in which the P symbol and typography work together as a lockup. The following variations allow us to optimize our use of the logo across various media and formats. However, the horizontal version is considered the primary version and its use should be prioritized.

Minimum Protective Space

It’s essential to always maintain a minimum protective space around the logo to maintain visual clarity and provide maximum impact. At minimum, the protective space should be equal to 1/3 the height of the “P” in the logo. The space should be equal on all sides of the logo. This applies to positioning around other print and digital elements as well as trim lines.

Incorrect Logo Usage

Consistent and coherent use of the logo is key to building brand recognition. For this reason, our logo should never be altered in any way. Here are some examples of things to avoid.

logo no stretch

Distorting the logo’s proportions in any way and rotating or skewing the logo.

logo no contrast

Using the white version of the logo on a light background.

logo different colors

Altering any of the logo’s colors.

logo busy image

Using the logo on a cluttered or confusing background.

logo change font location

Rearranging the logo’s components.

logo drop shadow

Adding effects such as drop shadows.

logo change font

Changing the font used in the lockup.

logo no P

Using the name of the school without the accompanying symbol.

Our Symbol

Our P symbol is considered part of the logo lockup and therefore should not be used without the full name of the school, except in the following exceptional cases:

  • Exterior Signage
  • Business Cards
  • Social Media Profile Photos
  • Pencils
