Photography Department – Social Media and Communications Assistantship

Description:

  • Write a short blog post about the photography programs (undergraduate and graduate level) every week.
  • Create and manage an Instagram account with weekly postings
  • Review and update the proposed schedule for Instagram postings that was developed by students last year
  • Manage the periodic Newsletter on Photo exhibitions in Paris and open calls.
  • Assisting the Chair on shows, conferences, lectures and Departmental public activities

Applicants must be enrolled in any of the BFA or MA/MFA Photography programs.

Experience, competencies and skills to be gained:

  • WordPress
  • Writing for a general audience (in addition to the academic writing that you acquire in class)
  • Social media communication

Approximate hours per week: No set hours, project deadlines and hours to be discussed with the supervisor.
Candidate can work remotely.
