Help BYT Fight Climate Change

The new up-cycled fashion brand, BYT, is seeking support through crowd voting for an international competition that will help them fight climate change.

BYT is the product of Redress’ 10 years of hard work pushing for sustainable fashion. Redress is an environmental NGO working to reduce waste in the fashion industry. Their aim is to enhance, educate and enable the adoption of a more sustainable fashion industry that helps to maximize the positive impacts of the fashion industry on society and the environment.

BYT, launching in September 2017, is an exciting new social impact business and up-cycled socially sustainable fashion brand that provides career opportunities for emerging sustainable fashion designers. 10% of their profits are donated to support Redress’ work.

BYT is representing Hong Kong in the Chivas Venture global competition for social impact businesses. They are competing for a share of US$250,000 prize money through public voting – and they need your help to win critical funding so that they can make a difference.

The crowd funding competition runs for 5 weeks from 8 May to 12 June and each voter can cast one vote each week. Each week, US$50,000 is divided proportionally to all finalists by the number of votes they receive. So every vote counts!
