Laura Lafon – Guest Speaker
Laura Lafon is a photographer and art director. She graduated in gender and cultural studies from Sciences Po Toulouse and from ESA le 75 in Brussels in photography. She lives in Paris. Her photographic and editorial works engage fiction and documentary, the intimate and the political. She has exhibited at PhotoSaintGermain, Photolux, Fictions Documentaires, FoMu. She is the artistic director of Gaze, the magazine of female and non-binary perspective. She is also the initiator of Lusted Men, an open collection of erotic pictures of men, which aims to disrupt gender roles and representations. Finally, she works as a portraitist and press photographer. The talk is organized by Pia Bienfait and will take place during Steve Bisson’s Portfolio class.
