PCA Design Management Faculty Yasmine Abbas at Gâité Lyrique
Chair of Design Management at PCA, Yasmine Abbas, presented the results of her research at La Gâité Lyrique, where she discussed about contemporary mobilities, our immersion in fluid spaces, and how the contemporary world, inhabited by the hybrid creatures, humans, non-humans and the neo-nomads, is always changing.
During this “Architecture of displacement” talk, Yasmine also discussed the needs of memorable experiences and anchoring in a world that is constantly in flux and how this has an impact on architecture and the way mobile sensory parameters are incorporated in architectural processes.
