PCA Faculty Alessandro Carabini Exhibits at the XVI Venice Architecture Biennale

Venezia - Exarea Saffa - ABraggion

MA/MFA Transdisciplinary New Media and Fashion Design faculty Alessandro Carabini to show a photography installation in this year’s edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale.

With his design firm ABACO, Alessandro has been invited to exhibit one of his recent research project, La ville qui parle, inside the Unfolding Pavilion.

La ville qui parle collects the urban hieroglyphics of our time. It looks for hidden layers of meaning, hidden cities.

La ville qui parle is a project launched by ABACO in Paris in 2017 with the aim of investigating the complex and – in some ways – hidden relationship between citizens and the urban environment.

It is a photographic research focused on words, sentences, texts and – more in general – signs and expressions left on the built fabric.

The installation will be open to the public from the May 25-30, 2018, in the Giudecca island of Venice.
